Parquet Wood Block Flooring Repairs,How To Repair, Parquet Blocks Repaired,Restored Sanded,Sealed in North Wales and Cheshire

This photo set shows off several parquet block repair projects we have completed for our clients over the last few weeks/months.

There are several different wood types, namely mosaic parquet fingers, and full sized parquet wood block flooring which is taken up, both the blocks and subfloor are properly scraped and cleaned, the subfloor then has a coat of Lecol's splendid PU280 liquid DPM applied to it, then kiln dried sand is broadcast into the liquid DPM and left to properly dry.

The cleaned and scraped parquet blocks are then re-fitted back into position, the area is then left for at least 24hrs for the parquet adhesive to properly go off, we use Lecol 5500 specialist parquet adhesive for all our repair work.

The repaired area of flooring is then ready to be fully sanded off and re-sealed.

Oak Parquet Block Floor Repaired and Restored in Conwy Valley, North Wales Virtually the whole of the oak parquet block floor in the Entrance Hall and Dining Room at this property in Eglwysbach near to Bodnant Gardens was loose and in need of extensive repairs. We uplifted and scraped all the loose blocks, applied a coat of Lecol PU280 liquid DPM to the subfloor and also broadcast in kiln dried sand.
