Parquet Floor Sanding in Rhyl - Ysgol Dewi Sant Main Hall
We have recently completed a large scale floor sanding and sealing project of 270m2 to the main school hall in Ysgol Dewi Sant which is in Rhyl, North Wales.
The main hall area is a very busy space and really was in dire need of a full restoration as there were many patches of the floor which were virtually back to bare wood where the old seal had totally worn through.
The material in the Hall was a beautiful Walnut parquet block, which was originally laid in a quite unusual double herringbone pattern with a 3 block border, the material sanded off quite nicely and it was quickly apparent to us that this floor would look just stunning when the 4 coat commercial lacquer system was applied.
You can see from the video and picture slideshow below the quality of the transformation that we effected over the 4 days we were at Ysgol Dewi Sant, our contacts from Pen-Y-Bryn Joinery and Denbighshire CC were both extremely pleased with the finished floor, which really did look superb.
